Joy Foundation started a Formal Education School in 2017 in Chak 325 JB, Dullam, Toba Tek Singh. The school has been on-going since 2017 and Joy Foundation has been providing Education from Nursery to 5th grade. At present the Joy Foundation School is registered with the government education department. The school is growing day by day. All the books, copies and stationary material for the students are provided by Joy Foundation. The teachers of the school are doing a great job and contributing a lot for the school and community. The community is happy with the efforts of Joy Foundation. We are looking forward to provide the best education to the children in this community.
INCLUSIVE EDUCATION has been a main component of the Joy Foundation School. Under the project “Inclusive Education through Inclusive Education Centers”, Joy Foundation opened Inclusive Education Centers where special children were given equal opportunities along with normal children, to study equally, play equally and do everything equally along with normal children just so they don’t feel any less. The project also included parents counseling meetings, exposure programs, advocacy and awareness programs, meetings with opinion makers and celebration of International day of Persons with Disabilities.
Joy Foundation’s Child Sponsorship Program is a continuous project since 2009. Under this project Joy Foundation sponsors those children whose parents can’t afford their education expenses. 20 children are being supported by this program. Joy Foundation covers their school fee, books cost, school bags and everything needed for their education.We believe we make a living by what we get, but we make a life with what we give, our slight positive influence has the potential to change a child’s life, so providing opportunities to our future is what Joy Foundation takes stand for.
